Our history

The expertise behind Sinistres Actiplus was built up in the field, long before the company was officially created. In 2010, Daniel Boire started working as a subcontractor for a company specializing in disaster recovery, developing solid experience in post-disaster response, project coordination, and relations with insurers.

In 2015, he joined forces with a franchise in the field, which allowed him to consolidate his expertise in drying and decontamination as well as reconstruction work. This step led to the creation of Ascension, a company founded to offer a more structured service, with an approach focused on quality execution and efficient management of post-disaster work.

A few years later, between 2017 and 2018, the company took a new turn with the end of the partnership between associates, allowing Daniel to continue developing Ascension, which became Sinistres Actiplus, with a clear vision: to offer a specialized reconstruction service while coordinating key stages such as drying, demolition, barricading, and decontamination with the help of reliable partners.

In 2019, the company began working with insurers such as Beneva, then expanded its mandates with Desjardins in 2020, in conjunction with a regional partner. In 2022, Sinistres Actiplus was given responsibility for major losses at Desjardins, confirming its ability to deliver complex projects and coordinate large-scale cases.

Today, Sinistres Actiplus acts as a central point of contact between the insurer, the customer, and specialized teams. Our role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all post-disaster work, with a focus on quality, meeting deadlines, and complying with standards. All related services (drying, decontamination, barricading, demolition) are provided by external subcontractors selected for their expertise, while our team manages the entire site and reconstruction process.

We understand the requirements of insurance companies and are committed to providing a rigorous, transparent, and professional service that facilitates the processing of claims while ensuring the satisfaction of those affected by the disaster.
